Health checks keep NZ printers ticking

Faced with a tough economic climate, PrintNZ has enlisted business advisers, Grant Thornton to provide independent financial health checks for its members.

According to Grant Thornton partner, David Ruscoe, (pictured) the health check challenges business owners by asking questions in a quick report covering key issues members are facing from recent trading, current liquidity and asset position.

“It’s a quick review of the state of the business and its viability going forward,” said Ruscoe. ”We have a team of financial specialists able to provide a real-world view on the financial position of [your] business.”

A Grant Thornton team of financial specialists will provide all PrintNZ members with an overview on the financial position of their businesses to benchmark them against industry peers, providing in an IFH report setting out the financial outlook of the business and recommended action points.

Ruscoe stressed that the engagement is “totally independent” and PrintNZ will not have access to any information provided, or a copy of the IFH report given to each company.

Grant Thornton New Zealand is offering members this service for $1,500 plus GST and disbursements.
