Sometimes it seems the printing industry is transfixed on digital technology, even though heavy metal offset presses perform the vast majority of printing. While there were no radically new offset presses presented at this year’s drupa, there were many tweaks and enhancements to boost productivity on existing presses.
The LIA NSW in conjunction with the PIAA NSW invites members of the industry to come and learn about the advances in offset printing from the experts. Three of the industry heavyweights will showcase their latest developments at a special Heavy Metal Night. Heidelberg, Cyber/Ryobi and manroland will present an overview of their respective technologies, highlighting the application advantages from prepress, press and postpress, including digital enhancements.
For those who did not attend drupa, this technical evening offers an opportunity to learn about the latest on where the market is heading, with particular focus on offset printing solutions.
This is a great chance for you and your team to learn or expand your knowledge of developing technologies.
