Three new cornerstones of A3 production, linked in one integrated workflow, will be demonstrated at the Heidelberg Brisbane showroom during September 10 –11,

The new Polysetter 52, which has been designed to service small to medium printers, enabling them to cost effectively produce plates in-house and maintain a greater level of control over production. The Polysetter 52 is an ideal companion for the Heidelberg SM52 press with improved clamping facilities together with automated hole punching and autoplate registration ensuring high quality levels even over multiple passes.
This plate system is driven to use the latest Meta Dimension, RIP Technology, which incorporates Color Management, trapping & direct proofing to HP Designjets.
A3 presses – SM and QM
Heidelberg will demonstrate a range of A3 presses in both portrait and landscape formats. See the first showing in Queensland of the new Speedmaster 52-2 featuring its great new features. With the new design feeder head and improved infeed, as well as the new Short Path Ink Mode system, which is unique to Heidelberg. Heidelberg will also illustrate the affordability of production efficiencies, and the superior print quality achievable with the Super Quick QM 46-2 (pictured) two-colour jobbing press.
Heidelberg Finishing Solutions
Heidelberg will also be showing the new Heidelberg Stitchexpert booklet maker. The Stitchexpert is the perfect solution for the A3 customer who wants to take full control of the products they produce to enable them to satisfy their customer needs for quality and delivery. The Stitchexpert is user-friendly and the quickest to set-up with all settings carried out from one central touch screen control. With a maximum production speed of 4,200 books an hour and a wide format range, the Stitchexpert is making its mark in the market.
In support, Heidelberg will also be displaying a Polar 66 programmable guillotine, which is perfectly matched to the A3 format, yet features all of the characteristics of the larger models. As far as folding is concerned, the Ti 52 Proline represents the comprehensive solution for the finishing of the most frequently used print format 50 x 70 cm. Distinguishing features include easy operation, versatile folding applications and a modern and solid technical equipment accompanied by favorable operating expenses and cost of the investment. The Ti 52 Proline offers many folding options by variable arrangement of the folding units and the cross-fold unit KBi 52.
