HVG secures major Kodak distribution deal

HVC specialises in the distribution of digital print media throughout Australia and New Zealand, and has added Kodak's range of wide-format inkjet media to its portfolio of offerings.

Naomi Donohue, product manager at HVG, says her company was eager to add Kodak's products to its existing selection of wide-format media.

“We've been active in that particular market for some time, and Kodak is a very strong brand that has proved to be very successful in reinventing itself,” she says. “So we jumped at the chance to work with an industry leader.”

The new products the company is featuring this month include Kodak's Premium Papers and Rapid Dry Photographic Papers, which offer instant drying capabilities in a choice of finishes such as satin, lustre and glossy.

HVG will also be distributing a number of photographic films, including Kodak Universal Backlit that is suited for day or night displays and Production Backlit Films for short term use, which both offer exceptional colour density for front print backlit applications.

Wide-Format Inkjet Compatibility Charts are available through HVG that outline all the information needed in regards to which media products are compatible with which printers, and the ink combinations needed.
