The new federal Industry Minister is latest in a stellar line-up of industry and business figures to sign on as presenters at the 2013 Australasian Printing & Communication Papers Market Outlook Forum on November 28 in Melbourne. The one-day Forum, the premiere paper industry event, is gaining in stature and importance at a time when the market is in turmoil.
The Minister will be addressing the industry as the Anti-Dumping Commission is investigating Australian Paper’s anti-dumping claim. Jim Henneberry, CEO, Australian Paper will join him on the platform.
According to Tim Woods, director, Industry Edge, the Forum is attracting intense interest especially because of the number of issues impacting the industry at present. “There is a lot of interest in attending the Form at this time of significant change in the industry. Apart from the obvious anti-dumping challenge by Australian Paper there is the re-entry of LWC into the Australian marketplace and ongoing consolidation in the printing industry,” he said.
Other speakers scheduled for the Forum include Bill Healey, CEO of Printing Industries, Kelly Northwood of Two-Sides and Andrew McKean vice president sales, marketing & logistics, Norske Skog. In addition Robert Eastment and Tim Woods, Industry Edge will also present the latest information on the state of the industry in Australia.
