In search of IPEXCELLENCE with CyraChrome

Back at IPEX 98, CyraChrome was just six months old and entirely dependent on DuPont products; a natural situation given the origins of several CyraChrome executives.

At IPEX 2002, CyraChrome products can be found on no less than eleven exhibitor booths and the company offers a diverse range of workflow, prepress, colour management, proofing, wide-format printing, flexo and IT solutions.

This year, IPEX 2002, the visiting CyraChrome team consists of Michael Laird (managing director), Andy McCourt (marketing manager) and Trevor Canty (technical sales advisor).

These three representatives will be at IPEX for the whole exhibition and are resident in Warwick, close to the castle where many pleasant hostelries are available for evening enjoyment.

The wonders of Telstra global roaming mean that Mike’s, Andy’s and Trevor’s mobile phones will all be working in the UK if you want to make contact.

What’s new
CyraChrome’s carefully-picked suppliers have a cornucopia of new products for IPEX 2002.

CGS Publishing Technologies – Two new versions of Australia’s favourite proofing RIP – ORIS ColorTuner. One features advanced auto-profiling and the other Halftne dot screening. An all-new version of ORIS Page will also be shown – for the Macintosh!

DuPont – The new ColorStation 2.0 proofing RIP combined with Cromalin CromaPro media and Epson and HP printers brings Cromalin-quality digital proofing to the low-cost wide format arena. The new Digital Cromalin version 5 software and gamut-extended inks will be there for high-end proofing customers.

RealTime Image – CyraChrome’s newest addition to its portfolio. RealTime will show the new version 4 ‘Classic’ online proofing software and the all-new ‘Express’ hybrid ASP solution.

Tiara Systems – A well-kept secret until now; CyraChrome has moved into wide-format solvent inkjet printing for the signage and display markets with the Tiara Sapphire and Opal 54” and 62” machines. Backed by Lyson Ink, Tiara Sapphire is the fastest outdoor printer in its class.

Many other new innovations are excpected from all suppliers so if you are visiting IPEX, make sure you put them all on your agenda!
