Industry sizzles with enthusiasm for Great IPEX BBQ

While the Great IPEX BBQ was only announced last week, Print 21 has already been inundated with bookings for the event at the Blue Boar, a 16th century inn near Stratford-upon-Avon.

Three corporate sponsors have already jumped onboard, ensuring that free alcohol will be flowing for all in attendance. The organisers can also confirm that a jester from the Royal Shakespeare Company has been booked for the event, who will be on hand to, in his own words, “piss fartee aroundee” for the amusement of all in attendance.

All Australian and New Zealand IPEX delegates are invited, irrespective of what tour group you are on. Suppliers can bring international guests for a taste of good old Aussie/Kiwi hospitality at The Blue Boar. There will be music, great food, a great atmosphere and visits by IPEX organising VIPs including exhibition director Trevor Crawford.

Tickets: AUD$50 each purchased in advance (GBP£25 if purchased in UK, availability permitting). Price includes food, venue, entertainment, limited transport and as many drinks as our kind corporate sponsors permit!

Date: Friday 7th April from 4pm till late

Place: The Blue Boar Inn, Temple Grafton, 5km from Stratford-upon-Avon (website www.blueboarinn.co.uk)

Transport: Limited pre-booked transport available, or make your own way there. IPEX has provided a mustering room near the main entrance where tea will be served from 3pm. A coach (sponsored by a major supplier) will depart before 4pm and will pick up at the Blue Boar Inn at 10:30pm and make hotel drops in Stratford and Warwick. Late stayers can drive, or take taxis and mini cabs at their own cost.
