Industry training synchronised across borders

The industry training calendar for 2012 is off to a strong start with the first group of Printing Industries programs synchronised across New South Wales and Victoria.

Sustainable Green Print (SGP) Levels one and two training programs will be held in Melbourne during February and Sydney during March.

Dynamic Leadership Skills begins in Melbourne in February and Sydney in May. Effective Sales in Print and Communication debuts in both Sydney and Melbourne during March.

SGP is based on the ISO14001 framework and is the printing industries own certification program designed to help printing companies meet their environmental responsibilities using a step by step process.

Melbourne will host the introductory Level 1 program on 22 February and the Level 2 next step on 29 February. Sydney will follow with its Level 1 course on 13 March and Level 2 on 14 March.

Effective Sales in Print and Communication has been revamped as part of its continuing improvement program and will be delivered in both Sydney and Melbourne by Shane Maher to ensure consistency in content for companies that may want staff trained in both states.

The course will be held first in Sydney as an intensive three-day course over 6-8 March and in Melbourne as a four day course over 13-14 and 20-21 March.

Dynamic Leadership Skills is aimed at new managers and current managers wanting to refresh their skills and techniques.
