Ink In Our Veins conference stays on the money

Printing advice isn't all that visitors can expect to come away with from this year's Ink In Our Veins conference at Wairakei, New Zealand from October 13-15.

Economics and tax will feature heavily at the conference with a keynote address on the economy and the imminent November election by Gareth Kiernan (pictured below).

Kiernan, who has worked for economic commentary firm, Infometrics, since 1999, was appointed managing director of the company in 2006. He is responsible for Infometrics' economic subscription services, along with overseeing the news analysis service and providing clients with regular updates on the latest data from across the economy.

Joining the throng is Nigel Smith, whose session, Tax Tips (Made Exciting) is hoped to ease a few headaches for print business owners. For the past 20 years, Smith has given regular seminars at the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and lecturing at both Auckland University and the Auckland University of Technology.

Delegates from all around New Zealand are expected to attend the Ink In Our Veins conference. Places are still available for the conference sessions and for golf and fishing trips but attendees are urged to make their bookings as soon as possible.
