Ink supplier makes a splash in Queensland
New supplier, Inknova, sells wide format inks at reduced prices.
According to Bernard Yousef, manager of Inknova, the company, which was established in Sydney, 2006, relocated to Toowoomba this year to be closer to its Queensland-based clientele.
Focussing on large format printers from Roland, Canon and HP, Mutoh and Mimaki, Inknova’s core business is the sale and technical support of large format ink consumables and media. Yousef said that the company prides itself on being one of the few businesses that manufacture, compile, test and distribute ink and media consumables solely compatible for wide and large format printing equipment.
“There’s plenty of inks on the market for smaller printers – why not wide format?” Youself said, explaining why he decided to create the company. “We set out to develop inks that were half the cost that the manufacturers sell them for. A large majority of wide format owners and processors were simply struggling with the high cost involved in maintaining the constant flow of manufacturer-distributed ink consumables.”
