Intellitrax proves to be a winner for colour management
One hundred per cent of leads resulted in the sales of eight X-Rite Intellitrax colour measurement devices, along with the acquisition of new clients including some of Australia's largest newspaper and printing companies.
Offering automated colour measurement for sheet fed commercial, web offset and folding carton printers, the Intellitrax was seen as an investment by customers hoping the achieve fast ROI.
"In today's fast-paced environment, this efficient, accurate device is indispensable," said Bruce Sinnott, national manager X-Rite products. "It is simple, the Intellitrax will save time and reduce waste, making you more profitable and competitive. It is an investment that printers can't afford to miss."

As industry trends point more towards shorter press run, DES believe that the Intellitrax continues the speed that many printers require. The Intellitrax can automatically scan the colour bar of a typical press sheet in 15-seconds and is 50 times faster than a hand-held device.
Quality control is simplified with the traffic lights display where green indicates good colour while yellow and red show that values are out of tolerance. From paying attention to this, press operators can quickly identify problems areas and bring colours back into control.
The popularity of the Intellitrax is expected to continue, according to David Crowther, technical manager. "This success only confirms that X-Rite and DES is a winning combination," he said. "We are delivering the products, service, support and training that the industry needs. We look forward to developing new partnerships and delivering solutions to streamline company's operations."
