Interquest hosts 2nd London Digital Book Printing Forum

Encouraged by last year’s success Interquest will deliver the second London Digital Book Printing Forum on 22 June in London.

The Interquest 2011 seminar is designed around its recent research into digital book printing, as the book publishing business faces change from distribution channels to book formats.

Toby Cobrin, a director at Interquest says digital printing plays an ever-increasing role as publishers and printers work to improve the process of producing books and efficiently distributing them to the market.

“We're excited to again host this event where leading book printers and publishers, suppliers, influencers, and other major players of the book industry will share their experiences, present their latest developments, discuss hot topics and challenges, and provide their vision of the future" he said.

According to Cobrin, while inkjet printing is one of the most significant recent developments in the book printing market, “attendees will hear not only about inkjet, but about the entire manufacturing process ranging from printing to finishing."

The 2011 event will be sponsored by Blurb, Cabot, Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Muller Martini, Screen, and UPM. It is supported by the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) and the Independent Publisher Guild (IPG).

Interquest is a US-based research and consulting firm in the field of digital printing and publishing.
