Ipex Media Summit summons journos across the globe
World’s top print suppliers set to reveal all to journalists at next week's Ipex Media Summit.
Companies including Canon Europe, C.P. Bourg, Domino Printing Sciences, Fujifilm Europe, Oce, Pitney Bowes, Red Tie, Ricoh and Xerox will speak to journalists from 100 global publications (Print21’s publisher, Patrick Howard will be in attendance) at the four-day London event from 7 to 11 February.
According to Trevor Crawford, Ipex 2010 event director, interest has been strong from media and suppliers alike. “We’re delighted with the level of interest in the Summit from exhibitors and the tremendous commitment from the international media,” he said. “In holding the event we’re able to further support our exhibitors in targeting the media with their key messages and providing the press with an exciting preview of what Ipex 2010 has in store.”

Jan Hol, Oce’s senior vice-president, marketing communications, hinted at more news from the company, which has been no stranger to the media spotlight after a proposed takeover by Canon was announced late last year.
“In light of the envisaged transaction between Oce and Canon, we expect strong interest from the media,” she said. “Oce’s presentation will focus on highlights of the envisaged deal … we also anticipate making an important announcement on the day.”
Along with updates, the Summit will also include a presentation from Pira International about The Great Print Debates – a panel debate that will tackle some of the critical issues facing the print industry today.
