Ipex set for success with over 50,000 registered visitors
Exhibitor numbers for the tradeshow have also reached 1,150. Sarah Harvey, marketing director of Ipex 2006, says the figures are a great indication that the show will be a resounding success for visitors and exhibitors alike.
“Our statistics indicate that many printing professionals plan to invest in their business during 2006, supporting the renewed air of optimism now felt within the print industry,” says Harvey.
“Our data has also revealed that over a quarter of pre-registered visitors also expect to expand their businesses over the next 18 months, with print management proving to be a key area of interest,” she says.
Well over 300 Australian and New Zealand visitors are predicted to attend this year's IPEX and organisers are hoping the numbers will exceed last time's 400 plus.
Digital print, finishing and converting are proving to be high on the agenda, with over 35 per cent of registered visitors confirming interest in these areas. 34 per cent of pre-registrations have come from overseas, reflecting the international focus of the show.
