Ipex travel made easier with Australian website
Australian printers planning their trip to IPEX can find out all they need to know from one website.
The new IPEX 2010 website, launched by Printing Industries, includes hotel options and accommodation packages for visitors who will be attending the seven-day exhibition, the largest English-speaking global technology event for print, publishing and media. It runs from Tuesday 18 May to Tuesday 25 May at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, England.
Printing Industries national communications and technical services manager, Joe Kowalewski, said accommodation packages started at four days, but could be configured to meet any requirements.
“We are again using the services of Eastern Suburbs Travel, who have successfully run our IPEX tours over a number of years, for our accommodation packages and any flight or ancillary requirements that Australian visitors may have,” he said.
“Our hotels are in the Birmingham City Centre, which is about 11 minutes by rail from the exhibition centre.
“Hotel details, including costs, are available in the special IPEX 2010 Aussie Tour section of our website along with information to help potential visitors plan their visit.”
Kowalewski said the website contained a currency converter, a section on attractions in Birmingham, interesting facts about Birmingham, UK travel tips including maps of the region and a Frequently Asked Questions section.
“This section also contains information on IPEX entry costs and how to gain entry at no cost – saving around AUD$65 per person. We will grow this section as demand dictates,” he said.
“The site features details of the Print21 Great Aussie-New Zealand BBQ at the refurbished Newbold Comyn Arms Hotel, Lemington Spa and post-IPEX plant tours over three days being organised by the Print Yorkshire association.”
