It was always going to happen with PaperlinX in the UK. A massive cost overhang from paper merchants who, once bought, resisted integration, plus substantial legacy pension liabilities from the 'good old days' meant the business was always going to be at risk. It's a disaster for the employees across the UK, with perhaps more pain to come in the European operations. Easter is all about revival, but there's little hope of a resurrection for PaperlinX UK.
