Jest a Barbie? – Great Print21 ANZ BBQ at IPEX gets serious!
HP-Indigo has put up its hand to sponsor the coach transport from the NEC to the venue – the Blue Boar Inn, Temple Grafton near Stratford-upon-Avon – and back to most hotels. Over 70 IPEX delegates from Australia and New Zealand have booked already for this fun event which commences at 4pm on Friday 7th April and runs till late.
All group tours and individual delegates are invited from both sides of the Tasman.
But wait jest a minute, there’s more! For your general amusement and bemusement, we will be visited upon by the Official Court Jester to the City of Northampton, Mr Kevin ‘Bear Face’ Burke. Dressed in full medieval ‘Motley’ (the bright jester’s clothes), Kevin will caper and cavort around with a heady mix of dare-devil stunts, ridiculous antics, mind-boggling magic and stunning illusions, all presented with an easy-going good humour and spark of silliness that is the hallmark of all goodly jesters.
Kevin has worked as a Jester since 1990 when he first donned the cap and bells for The Sheriff of Nottingham’s Medieval Banquet. Since then he has performed at medieval events all over the UK. He is one of the regular jesters at Warwick Castle, and is a member of the National Guild of Jesters (the mind boggles), and The Magic Circle.
A fine band of minstrels has also been booked to pepper the atmosphere with Celtic music.
