Job of the Week, Hardware Service Engineer, Melbourne

The position will entail the delivery and servicing of advanced hardware solutions to the ANZ region, including handling all installation, maintenance, fault resolution and up grading of their hardware products. Subsequently, frequent travel within Australia & New Zealand will be required. Working for a niche software and hardware provider within a specialist industry, you will receive thorough training and become a subject matter expert in their products.

They are looking for a candidate who has gained a solid amount of commercial experience as a Hardware Engineer who possesses a sound knowledge of electronics, is tertiary qualified in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and possesses excellent trouble-shooting skills in order to be able to diagnose and resolve all hardware faults (within the machinery).

This role requires a candidate who is self-motivated, customer-focused and who is confident working in an autonomous manner. In addition, you will be capable of responding quickly to service calls and able to liaise effectively with all levels of clients to resolve their issues. In addition, candidates who possess specific commercial experience with laser technology will be highly regarded. An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate.
