Job of the Week: Plate & Consumables Support Technicians, Syd & Melb

We are currently seeking applications from technicians for two vacancies, based in Sydney and Melbourne from candidates with an in-depth understanding of the print process at the production level. 

Applicants will need to demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to provide advice concerning printing plates and chemistry as well as troubleshoot and overcome issues on the use of print consumables throughout the production process.

Ideally, you will have a qualification in a Graphic Arts trade and be currently employed in a role providing on-site customer support for printing plates and associated technology.

You will have in-depth and up to date knowledge of plate imaging and chemistry as well as expert knowledge surrounding the application of printing plates on presses and the interactions of chemistry, ink, blankets, substrates and plate types.

You will also be prepared and able to expand your knowledge to encompass new products.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered including salary and car allowance, based on qualifications and experience.
