Candidate experience / knowledge important for this role is:
Project management / print scheduling background gained within a print or print related organizationSupplier management experienceTeam leader experience / skills (2 direct reports)Candidate capabilities:
Attention to detailAbility to see a task through to it's completionAbility to learn quicklyFlexibility to adapt to changeCustomer service orientation/skillsUnderstands principles of print buyingThis is very much a "hand's on" role, and the candidate will need to be able to provide production process back up for their two direct reports during times of annual leave or sick leave.
Key responsibilities
Manage annual book production program for the tertiary education market ensuring editorial, packaging, CRM, printing and despatch activities are completed to a tight scheduleManage print buying activity associated with Asia-Pacific wide re-branding project including stationery, business cards, invoice stock & packagingManage relationships with internal customers and other shared services departments, resolving issues promptlyEnsure team runs efficiently during a period of transitionSupplier relationship management -component, production, non-production Projects - initial focus on formalising component management processes for our new CD supplierReview supplier invoicesComplete Monthly status reportsBackup for rest of the team (including purchasing/supply chain admin tasks)Business: WK Shared Services
