Job of the Week, Technical Sales Specialist - Queensland
CyraChrome is Australia's leading supplier of contract proofing and workflow solutions to the printing, publishing, packaging and advertising industry, and we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist.
Our principal RIP technology is the market-leading ORIS Color Tuner™ from CGS Publishing Technologies International, and we are major vendors of large format digital printing technologies from Epson, Canon, and HP.
We are searching for a highly skilled Sales Specialist who understands the importance of customer rapport and support. It is imperative you can continue to achieve sales growth from both existing markets and the development of new opportunities.
The individual will need to be fully competent in digital inkjet technologies, servers and prepress application software for contract and imposition proofing.
It is essential that you are experienced in the creation of ICC profiles using spectrophotometers and have the capability to 'fingerprint' a printing press if required. Knowledge of ORIS Color Tuner RIP will be highly regarded. Duties will include installation of proofing systems, re-profiling of existing systems and training operators in the use of these proofers.
Other duties include setting up large format inkjet printers, various RIP solutions, and specifying workflows. Some interstate and overseas travel may be necessary.
