Job of the Week: Technical/IT Support - Prepress

The two key objectives of this role as Technical Support for the Prepress Department are to provide a continuous quality service to Hannanprint NSW Pty Limited clients according to their requirements; and to educate, support and communicate to employees on Prepress IT related issues.
Several (but not limited to) of the duties of this position are:-
Provide technical/IT support to the Sales Department and clients with the aim of ensuring that the department has 'good files on time” every time.
Ensure and assist supervisors to meet production targets by addressing IT issues
Train employees in relevant IT systems i.e. CREO PRINERGY system and 'skills charts'
Work closely with IT and technical departments to ensure skills are kept up to date.
Promote and support new products for internal and external clients.
Actively seek solutions to software and hardware issues
You will need to be achievement orientated and have proven abilities in dealing with clients and managing people. Good interpersonal skills are a must for this position. An in depth industry knowledge of the printing processes particularly Prepress, printing and Bindery is essential.
