DES is the market leader in Australia in digital proofing and wide format printer sales to the graphics industries. As the exclusive Australian distributor for several leading brands and products, we have developed national distribution and established our products as market leaders.

Reporting to the director of sales, the role will be responsible for sales and growth in the Melbourne market through an existing customer base plus generating new business opportunities. As a team member in a nationally based company that is growing steadily there is plenty of potential for promotion.

Our strong range of products and prospects will give motivated sales staff every opportunity to succeed. We also have strong sales support to assist our account managers develop new opportunities and maximise sales.

To be successful in this position you will need to have:

  • A proven track record with a minimum of 3 years in sales, ideally in the printing, print management or prepress markets.

  • The ability to think outside the square and have good business acumen;

  • Persistence, reliability and persuasiveness coupled with good organisational skills;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop successful business relationships;

  • Strong written presentation skills and the ability to produce professional customer proposal’s

  • Drive and self-motivation coupled with the ability to work in a team environment;

  • An articulate and eloquent telephone manner and outstanding verbal communication skills;

  • The desire and determination to succeed

An attractive package of Base + Super + GP based commission on earnings is on offer. Salary will be negotiable based on skills and experience.
