Jobs of the week: Account Service Manager, Sydney
We are currently seeking applications from energetic, dedicated and customer focussed individuals for the position of Account Service Manager, based in Sydney.

As an integral member of the Customer Support Team- Northern Region, this position is responsible for ensuring key customers experience maximum productivity from their Heidelberg equipment, and customer/Heidelberg projects such as new & used equipment installations are set up following the end of sales process for the Team Leader and Field Service Representatives to plan and carry out. This role is heavily focussed on effectively managing relationships with key customers with regard to customer support matters including installations, planned service agreements (PSA’s) and general service enquiries and issues.
In addition, ensuring that customer issues surrounding shortfalls in performance of Heidelberg equipment and services are remedied quickly and effectively along with making sure customers have their needs met or exceeded through attentive customer care, ensuring customer records and transaction paperwork (invoices, credits etc) are accurate and queries dealt with a timely manner and furthermore, NR Service Contract AOP Budget is achieved.
The successful candidate will hold a trade qualification in Graphic Arts or a related trade and/or and Engineering/Electrical trade, and will have previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on customer service, ideally with hands-on experience in the printing industry in the operation and/or maintenance and service of printing equipment to a level that is generally beyond that of customers, printing press operators and maintenance staff. Experience negotiating and developing service contracts or service agreements to meet the business requirements of customers is essential, along with excellent customer service skills, including exposure to situations which involve problem solving, dispute resolution and relationship building with customers. You will have proven ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally and at all levels, and possess a solid business understanding of commercial issues.
This is a permanent, full time position, based in Sydney. Some interstate and overseas travel may be necessary. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Local employment conditions apply.
