Jobs of the week: Account Services Manager, Sydney

We are currently seeking applications from dedicated and customer focused individuals for the position of Account Service Manager, based in Sydney. 



As an integral member of the Customer Support Team – Northern Region, this position is responsible for ensuring key customers experience maximum productivity from their Heidelberg equipment. 

This role is the link between sales and service, heavily focused on effectively managing relationships with key customers regarding customer support matters including installations, selling and negotiating new preventative service contracts with customers, and general service enquiries and issues. 

In addition, this role will also focus on ensuring that customer issues surrounding shortfalls in performance of Heidelberg equipment and services are remedied quickly and effectively, along with ensuring customers have their needs met or exceeded through attentive customer care.

Specifically, responsibilities include identifying, pursuing and concluding sales opportunities for Service Contracts, rectifying all equipment issues that arise, ensuring installations and de-installations are set up and implemented within the agreed timeframes, identifying and actioning customer equipment performance issues, and making sure that all customer records and transactional paperwork is accurate and queries dealt with in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will hold a trade qualification in Graphic Arts or a related trade and/or Engineering/Electrical trade, with experience in a Customer facing role.  You will ideally possess hands-on experience in the printing industry in the operation and/or maintenance and service of printing equipment.  Your negotiation skills and ability to develop service contracts or service agreements is essential, along with excellent customer service, problem solving and the ability to effectively building relationships at all levels. 

This position is based Sydney.  Some interstate and overseas travel may be necessary.  Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience of the successful candidates and local employment terms and conditions apply.
