The role will suit an analytical person who wishes to grow their experience to and utilize their substantial design and programming experience. The ability to advise on technical issues and develop solutions for the more complex projects will characterize the role.



Quals,Skills & Competencies:

Tertiary qualifications in computing or a related field

Analysis and programming experience gained through a minimum of 5 years work in a commercial IT environment

Commercial experience in Perl and SQL is essential

Experience in C, CGI, HTML, XML will be advantageous

Thorough knowledge of Unix and Windows.

Top class verbal and written communication skills.

Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.

Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks.

Demonstrated strong customer focus.

Highly motivated and able to work independently

Enthusiasm and an ability to function in and contribute towards a positive and supportive team environment.

Analytical and logical approach to issues and problems.

Knowledge of Exstream Dialogue (a document composition tool) would be highly advantageous.

Knowledge of OO design, VB, ASP and IIS would be advantageous.
