Jobs of the week: Applications Engineer/Digital Print

They offer a broad range of products - including wide-format digital colour-printers, consumables, inks and a wide range of substrates for digital applications.

They require an experienced installations engineer - someone with a strong understanding of pre-press software, as applied to wide-format ink-jet printers. Ideally, you may have been an operator, or worked within a digital pre-press environment (e.g. senior Mac Operator, pre-press supervisor, studio manager or pre-flight specialist) but you also possess strong “people” and communications skills.

Importantly, you MUST have had at least 3 years experience within a digital print or pre-press environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to flex your technical skills, particularly in the calibration of digital devices, implementing colour-management and establishing appropriate work-flow protocols. In these roles you will provide technical support to the sales team.

You must be well presented and enjoy meeting people and being part of a friendly team environment.

A generous base salary plus car allowance will be provided. The base salary is negotiable according to experience.
