Jobs of the week: BARCO Operator

Montage Graphics, a division of Carter Holt Harvey and a leader in digital pre-press in Oceania has unique opportunities for a Barco / Packaging Operator in Melbourne.



You will be responsible for the creation of press ready files via operating the pre-production system in particular the Barco system, specifically developing proofs, & CTP files as per customer & printer requirements. You will also be responsible for checking and reviewing of files for quality analysis, as well as retouching or adjusting images as required. You will liaise with customers, providing technical advice and assist in determining job schedules and resource allocation.



As a key role within the business, you will be supported with a formal training and leadership development plan. You will have established a background in the Pre-press industry and have Barco, ArtPro or Macintosh Packaging experience. Ideally, you will posses packaging related design, art and machinery capabilities, as well as computer literacy. It is essential that you have knowledge of packaging print and production processes.
