Heidelberg is the world’s leading supplier of integrated solutions for the print media industry.



Due to internal growth, we have an exciting Business Analyst position available for which we are currently seeking applications from energetic and driven individuals.  Working as part of the Business Development Team, this positions is responsible for carrying out detailed analysis, business case development and special purpose analysis across the entire scope of Heidelberg Australia & New Zealand (HAN) and Heidelberg Asia Pacific (HAP) business operations. This role will also involve working with key stakeholders within HAN and HAP to increase awareness of the Heidelberg product offering and to increase market share and margins.

The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in a commercial or business related discipline, with an exposure to financial management.  You will have strong and creative business development skills and sound financial experience, as well as a working knowledge of the printing and/or manufacturing industry, enabling you to effectively consult to internal and external customers.  Extensive experience developing and presenting business proposals is fundamental as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written); relationship building ability; internal and external customer focus; problem solving ability and excellent computer literacy.  In addition, a strong grounding in mathematics and ability to infer understanding from excel templates through formulas and template structure is essential.

A natural business driver, you will have proven ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally and at all levels, and possess a solid business understanding of commercial issues.

This is a 12-month contract position, based in Melbourne.  Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
