Salmat is Australasia's largest direct customer communications company with branches in all states of Australia, and we are currently looking for an achievement oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Print On Demand team (POD). POD print and distribute promotional material, point of sale, business stationery, publications and other printed material right across Australia.
As Business Development Manager you will be required to draw upon your knowledge base or experience in print and print management services in order to offer strategic solutions to a range of corporate and blue-chip clients.



Key responsibilities will include:



  • Identify, evaluate and secure new business opportunities within identified key prospects, whilst assisting in cross selling within existing accounts

  • Create development strategies in gaining penetration of selected target accounts with Salmat products and services

  • Co-ordinate the implementation of new business secured in conjunction with relevant Salmat departments

  • Ensure establishment of appropriate service level measures, and tracking/reporting mechanisms to achieve SLA's both internally and externally

  • Keep abreast of day-to-day market developments in order to accurately assess opportunities



    To be considered for this role you will be an exceptional communicator with a strong creative flair, coupled with demonstrated business acumen and strategic planning skills.


    You will be a high achiever able to proactively identify new business opportunities. A good working knowledge of digital and full colour offset printing would be advantageous.
