Jobs of the week: Customer Service Representative, Melbourne

Our client is a well established, well equipped printer, focused on the A2 / A1 colour market. With a marketing-orientation, they offer their clients a fast, competitive value, no fuss, service.

They seek a customer service representative to support the sales team with internal client liaison, implementation of lead generating marketing campaigns, development of sales support material, and driving the contact management system.

Working from a modern South Melbourne premises, the role will be mainly internal, however it is anticipated that they could quickly develop the necessary skills to move into a face to face sales role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the sales team with order processing and quotations

  • Contacting our customer base on a regular basis via telephone and through marketing campaigns

  • Assisting in the development of marketing materials

  • Managing and assisting in the implementation of the contact management system

  • Liaising with the various divisions (accounts, pre press, production, and dispatch) to ensure smooth workflow and information

  • Handling of inbound phone calls

  • In the near future, managing a set number of accounts

To ensure your success in this role, the candidate will need to possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A passion for customer service

  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Work under pressure

  • Ability to multi task

  • Attention to detail

  • Positive attitude and passion for learning

  • Experience in the Customer Service area

  • Knowledge of the print market would be an advantage, but not a prerequisite

  • Knowledge of the marketing process

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • A drivers license

A package of around $40,000 is offered for a suitably qualified candidate.
