Data Processing Officer

    The Data Processing Operator will work under the general supervision of the IT Manager and occasionally with the guidance of other more senior staff;



    Your role in summary;

  • To ensure that QM meets its obligations to it�s clients by running regular production processing jobs accurately and on time.

  • To ensure the provision of a quality service in an efficient, effective and timely manner, and which meets customer expectations.

  • Processing of Production Applications for QM Clients.

  • Adhere with Quality Assurance polices and procedures, with specific reference to ISO 9001/2000 policies



    Quals/Skills/Competencies required;

  • Strong client focus.

  • Knowledge in data processing required

  • Knowledge with UNIX, shell scripting and windows operating skills

  • Knowledge or experience with MS Office package

  • Effective communication at all levels

  • Knowledge or experience in Perl, C, SQL, XML, CGI and HTML will be advantageous

  • Ability with implementation and enforce efficient processes delivering accurate and on time services

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Potential future career path into IT Developer
