As a Digital Printroom Operator for the University of Sydney’s renowned Faculty of Health Sciences, you will gain invaluable exposure to state-of-the-art equipment and enjoy scope for creative input into the print production process.

You will operate a digital Xerox 4127 Publishing System, Fuji Xerox Freeflow Print Server, Xerox 5065 Docucolour Printer/Scanner, and conduct minor machine maintenance. Utilising your exceptional communication skills, you will liaise with customers on the counter, provide advice on print material requirements and issue materials to students in a store-like environment.

As you will be joining a fast-paced client focused environment, the ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines will be paramount.  To succeed, you will possess experience with equipment similar to the above, high calibre customer service skills and be competent in the use of relevant machines. You will also need to demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail, a good eye for layout and design and the ability to collaborate effectively with a cohesive, well managed team.

The position is full-time continuing, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees. Appointment of the preferred applicant is subject to a satisfactory health assessment.

Remuneration package: $56,090 - $59,289 p.a. (which includes a base salary Level 4 $47,397 - $50,100 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).
