Key Responsibilities

Thoroughly read and understand each work order before starting the job.

Ensure all stocks are checked carefully when loading machines. All output must be scanned for irregularities.

Ensure all work instructions receive Shift leader sign off prior to work commencement and on completion.

Regular samples must be taken of every job produced to ensure consistent quality.

Ensure Finishing and despatch instructions are followed carefully.

On job completion ensure that all left over stock is returned to its appropriate location.

Ensure that any problems are brought to the attention of the Shift leader, follow the course of action taken for future problem solving.

Make sure the work area is kept clean at all times, ensure that there is nothing left lying around and that all stocks are returned to the appropriate section after printing. Good housekeeping standards will ensure safety requirements are met.

Ensure all paper work is correctly filled out for each job.

Ensure all Machine and Processing Logs are filled out correctly for each job.

Notify Shift leader of any stock or supply issues..

Participate in Hazard Identification reporting processes and Incident/Accident reporting processes.

Have full knowledge of all laser print requirements.
