PaperlinX Office is Australia's largest manufacturer and supplier of office papers, stationery and envelope products. A rare and truly unique opportunity has been created for an innovative and commercially astute manufacturing professional to manage the Adelaide site, one of the company's leading manufacturing operations.



Based in Adelaide and reporting directly to the General Manager Operations (based interstate), this key hands-on management role will require a highly motivated and results focused individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to both continuous improvement and safety.



In recent times the business has gone through significant change. The restructure of logistics has delivered supply chain efficiencies, and manufacturing improvement initiatives have resulted in productivity gains. Despite the extent and success of these measures, there is still a lot more to be achieved. The appointee to this position will contribute to the continuation of the change process, bringing a modern, professional approach, which builds on the initiatives already taken to progress the plant, processes and people to the next level.



Whilst a background in the paper converting industry would be advantageous, of greater importance is demonstrated experience providing collaborative leadership within a fast-paced and continuous improvement manufacturing environment. Strong planning and costing skills will be necessary for success. Previous experience in the implementation of ERP/MRP systems will be highly regarded.
