Doculink Australia is a well established and growing digital printing company located in Port Melbourne. We operate an energetic and service-focused production environment that is never dull. We produce all manner of digital print products and also manage a wide variety of offset and other products for our ‘big business’ client base – so our work mix is diverse and always interesting.

We have a permanent position within our Pre Press department for a suitably experienced professional. Our pre press department also manages our high volume colour digital production process. So being one of our Pre Press Operators allows end-to-end quality management – from file through to colour imaging. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a step further in their pre press career or perhaps seeking more variety than traditional offset pre press can offer. Application Criteria
Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar or related role

  • Extensive hands-on knowledge and technical  competency of all applications in CS3

  • Competent and comfortable to work on both Mac & PC

  • Experience in pre press processes for both digital and offset print production

  • Experience in file manipulation

  • Experience with colour correction

  • Working knowledge of impositioning

  • Ability to create print-ready files

  • Competent in basic layout and artwork creation

Advantageous

  • Experience with high volume digital colour production work flow

  • Previous experience with either Fiery or CREO front-end systems

  • Experience with variable data and associated software
