Jobs of the week: Print / Finishing Production Manager, Melbourne

Duties

• Operations of plant.                                                                              

• Identify and troubleshoot machine or product related issues.

• Miscellaneous tasks, as assigned.

• Understanding and implementation of LEAN manufacturing practices.

• Ensure the highest possible quality coming from all production.                   

• Ensure maintenance is performed and documented throughout plant.

• Ensure the equipment is running efficiently.

• Reduce downtime.    

• Continuously improvement of operations through lean activities.

• Hiring of staff.

• Assist in Performance interviews – ensure adherence to regulations on Hiring and Firing.

• As management representative ensure all OH&S guidelines and regulations are met.

• Ensure it is a safe plant for all employees.

• History of managing at least 20 employees.
