Jobs of the week: Prism Support Analyst(s)
Bluestar Print Group I.T Shared Services team is looking for a Analyst with several years experience in the print industry working with PRISM WIN.

The Prism Support Analyst works with business users and other members of IT to implement configuration changes and PRISM reports. Working within the shared services team you would be reporting to the Systems Support Manager . You would be working with several other PRISM support analysts on a number of group wide projects.
The role has the following core functions:

Preparation of Prism reports

Prism and e-commerce software data validation, including integration and migration tasks

Experience with the following Prism modules - SOP, QJ, SFM, PM to be able to troubleshoot any user issues.

Identify and resolve data input rejections/failures in Blue Star’s e-commerce applications and client e-commerce applications (eg. Ariba)

Monitor the performance of Distributed Process Server (DPS) clients in Prism, and resolve deadlocks or system hangs

Perform database development and management tasks as required

Identify and report on any programming anomalies encountered in Prism and e-commerce applications

Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Preferably experience with sales, distribution and financials in the PRISM WIN system.

Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MYSQL)

Experience with report writing tools – PRISM report writing. Other report writing tools experience would be beneficial.

Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills

Understanding of Windows Server and Linux operating environments

Preferred Print Industry Experience
