Jobs of the week: Project Manager- Printing

Securency is a joint venture between the Reserve Bank of Australia and Innovia Films, and are the world leader in the development of polymer bank note technology. Having effectively created their own market, the business is growing strongly locally and overseas, with extensive expansion of operations required to meet growing demand.

To support the high level of growth, the business is seeking to appoint a Project Manager who will be responsible for the managing the development of new facilities to service overseas markets. Working closely with the Senior project Manager and Operations Director you will coordinate the installation and commissioning of new printing presses along with associated ancillary equipment and building services. It is expected that you will undertake detailed project planning and review, coordinate the activities of internal and external installation crews, and brief external consultants when required.

The successful candidate will have an extensive background in managing the installation and commissioning of complex, computer controlled equipment of a related nature. While exposure to printing equipment is desirable, this experience could also include materials handling equipment for automated production processes from related industries. Your technical knowledge will be supported by strong project management skills, excellent decision making capabilities and the ability to independently manage projects of up to $30m in value.

As much of the growth in the business will be overseas, the majority of projects, and your time, will be spent in overseas locations. It is essential that you are comfortable with regular work related relocations.

You will be joining a world class organisation that is growing strongly and will be rewarded with a competitive salary package and coverage of costs associated with relocations.
