Jobs of the week: Regional Manager – Service Operations, Sydney
At an exciting time where our service business is a major contributor into our global strategy for growth, Heidelberg is currently seeking applications from commercially focused & results-driven leaders for the role Regional Manager for our New South Wales and Queensland Operations.

Based in Sydney, reporting directly to the General Manager - Service and being an integral member of the local Management team and wider Service function, this position is responsible for effectively managing, leading and driving one of Heidelberg’s regional customer support/service business in accordance with the strategic and operational plans. In addition, working with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective regional customer support strategies, solutions and activities for working in conjunction with key stakeholders to improve the performance of the Regional Customer Support area.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a commercial service environment, managing employees within a trade environment (union involvement), with particular exposure to high ticket capital equipment, and preferably with a working knowledge of the Printing /Graphic Arts Industry.
The candidate may have a Mechanical/Electrical Trade Qualification and preferably a Degree/Diploma in a Business related discipline. Having worked for a customer focussed organisation, you will have demonstrated experience in structuring and selling service agreements as a part of a total solution or as an individual customer solution.
The individual will also have proven ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally and at all levels; a strong internal and external customer focus; effective people management skills; strong teamwork skills with the ability to be part of and help develop a customer focused, knowledge sharing culture. In addition, the ability to take ownership, responsibility and drive and deliver results is critical for the position, as is experience in promoting and driving organisational change initiatives.
This position is of a permanent full time nature, based Sydney. Some interstate travel will be necessary. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience of the successful candidates and local employment terms and conditions apply.
