Jobs of the week: Sales Account Executive, Print MIS Software, Melbourne


Over 700 printing companies use the solution worldwide, with Tharstern UK appointing Mosaic MIS as the first distributor internationally in 2001. Mosaic has since established a growing customer base in NZ, recently opening an office in Melbourne in September lat year to address local requirements.



We wish to strengthen the operation by securing a Sales Account Executive of a high-calibre: motivated to play a key role in developing opportunities in Australia; with broad experience in the print industry; with a sales-driven instinct and who easily builds close and mutually-satisfying relationships with customers. You will be supported by an experienced technical team and will be representing technology that is widely recognised as being in the best available worldwide. Our business objective is to establish TharsternSQL as the leading print MIS within Australia within the next 3-5 years.



The Position:



The role will initially involve working closely with a senior team member in Melbourne to up-skill your product knowledge and to develop the project initiated to date. You would be responsible for further leads generation; appointment setting; non-technical initial demos; credentials pitch; asking questions and defining the specific requirements of each business; detailed pitchs/workshops alongside others within Mosaic’s technical team; proposal creation; negotiation; close and handover to technical. You would also be responsible for the general account management during the implementation and post implementation to assure an outcome of total customer satisfaction. Other tasks will involve the general distribution of marketing material; raising product awareness; attending industry functions, trade shows and expos as required.



You will be required to develop a solid knowledge of the product in terms of the scope of the functionality and how this application to individual businesses can positively impact numerous areas of the environment. You will be required to understand TharsternSQL’s level of integration with other vendor solutions as a leading JDF, SQL and ODBC solution. Your ability to understand the specific requirements of the customer and to generate clearly communicate informed recommendations is absolutely critical.
