Our Spicers Paper merchanting business in Chullora, New South Wales has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Sales / Promotions Executive responsible for promoting the company’s products to advertising agencies, graphic designers, government bodies and corporations direct.

The successful applicant must have flair and imagination. The ability to communicate and network to all levels of a company with the emphasis on creativity is required. Initiative, analysis and commercial skills are also important to enable value propositions to be created and explained to customers.

Other key criteria include strong presentation & time management skills, excellent communication and negotiation experience.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Generate sales through the promotion of product range

  • Service the clients on a regular and ongoing basis by promoting new products, sample service and sample maintenance

  • Increase awareness of brands and products available through PR activities, eg promotion, industry events

  • Provide support to the external sales team

  • Build relationships and encourage brand loyalty

  • ‘Tie-in’ with the printers

  • Maintain an up to date customer database including complete call summary.

 

Experience:

  • Sales/marketing background

  • Paper and/or print industry experience is preferred but not essential.
