Industry identity Kellie Northwood will be a guest speaker at this month’s LIA Queensland/Heidelberg Graduate of the Year Awards Night in Brisbane.

Northwood, CEO of the Australian Catalogue Association and executive director of Two Sides Australia (TSA) will join 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Gold Medal winning swimmer Clyde Lewis as speakers at the event.

Organisers say they’ve now completed all the judging and interviews for the Queensland Graduate of the Year and the Early Stage Apprenticeship Awards.

The winning graduate in each state is chosen by an expert judging panel of LIA members. The candidates are put forward by TAFE teaching staff as the ‘pick of the bunch’ in their particular stream. There are usually four to eight candidates in each state, covering the spectrum of the printing trades.
