KAMA sets up home in Australia

German KAMA die cutting and folder gluing equipment goes on show for the first time in Australia at up-coming Heidelberg Open House.

Following last year’s announcement that Heidelberg would be the Australian distributor for the Dresden-based manufacturer’s finishing cutters and folder-gluers, the machinery is due to go on display at Heidelberg’s Print Media Academy in Melbourne, 11.30 am on Wednesday 24 March, 2010.

At the Open House the KAMA ProCut die cutter and ProFold folder gluer will be shown and run through a number of live jobs, demonstrating capabilities in foiling, embossing, die cutting and unique folding.

Andy Jensen, managing director of Heidelberg Australia New Zealand sees the KAMA range as complementary to the company. “The KAMA machines and their wide range of applications for A2 and A3 print finishing fit perfectly into our sales portfolio,” he said.
