Our client is an SME who is a market leader with an excellent record of growth and innovation.

They are offering a fast track training program leading to the role of General Manager for a commercially astute sales professional who is looking for genuine career growth.

A major accountability in the initial role of Key Account Manager will be sales and representation of the company at the highest level. This will necessitate maintenance of their position in the market as well as aggressively growing the business and seeking out new opportunities. As such, this is a high customer contact role requiring extensive sales and account management experience.

The successful applicant will be required to develop a personal customer base to ensure achievement of a personal sales budget. They will also be required to manage, motivate and mentor the sales team and thereafter the organisation. Ultimately, as GM, they will have a “hands on” position with responsibility for the overall management of the sales, production and administration areas.


The successful applicant will need to have the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years key account experience in a business to business environment

  • The ability to both develop new business from existing accounts as well as secure new clients

  • Exceptional customer service and a strong commercial acumen

  • A strong background in print or an allied industry

  • Most importantly - your referees would describe you as a high energy sales professional who has illustrated the readiness to take the next step.

  • Experience in areas of management would be a benefit

  • A Business-related qualification, preferably at degree level
