Kiwis win Best in Show at LATMA Label Awards
Admark Visual Imaging, Hamilton, New Zealand took off the overall Best in Show as well as a gold, two silver, bronze and a highly commended. The winning entry took gold in the flexography, line screen and tone category. In a year of tough competition the judges used words such as “awesome” and “fantastic” to describe the label, which had the added difficulty of having to match an offset printed carton.
According to convenor Peter Sage (pictured) there was an “enormous leap in the overall quality of the entrants, especially in the flexo categories. The judges also noted a decline in the number of letterpress entrants compared to last year,” he said.
