Klaus Spiegel resigns from Heidelberg management board
His departure comes as Heidelberg reorganises to deal with life as a publicly owned company. Dr. Mark Wössner is to succeed Dr. Klaus Sturany as chairman of the board. The new chairman comes from a publishing background having been chairman of publisher Bertelsmanns from 1982 through 2000.
Jürgen Rautert will replace Spiegel as a regular member of the board responsible for engineering and manufacturing. Which means that as of July 1st, 2004, Heidelbergs new Management Board will consist of: Bernhard Schreier (50) - CEO, Dr. Herbert Meyer (57) - CFO and Dr. Jürgen Rautert (45) - Engineering and Manufacturing.
