Kodak kicks back with four Digimasters into Brisbane
The Digimaster E125 presses were purchased by the Brisbane-based company to complement its existing commercial print and logistics operation. James Bennett, director of Copy Print Xpress Printing, claims it was a big decision for the company to change its supplier after 20 years. “After extensive research we determined the Kodak solution to be the best business decision for our company and I am delighted with the choice of the Digimaster E125’s from Kodak,” he says.
Bennett also highlights the support from Kodak in the migration over to the PDF file format. “With the conversion to a completely open PDF workflow it will deliver significant efficiencies to our customers and will allow us to meet the strenuous demands and the tightest deadlines placed on us from our many high profile corporate customers.”
“The new Digimaster technology and workflow enables us to create a lot more product in a single process, including hole punched documents and saddle stitched booklets, all directly from the customers file resulting in considerable savings in production time,” says Bennett.
Jon Field, national manager of digital print at Kodak, claims the installation reinforces the reputation of the Digimaster in the commercial environment.
“The decision by CPX and its sister company SOS Print and Media to begin a new relationship with Kodak was achieved after a extremely thorough selection process, and we were pleased they had the vision and confidence to choose us as their preferred supplier of digital solutions,” says Field.
