Kodak Prinergy 4 seminar makes its way to Brisbane

Following a positive response to the Melbourne and Sydney Prinergy seminars, Kodak is heading to Brisbane.

After the introduction of the upgrade to Kodak's Prinergy Workflow System at PrintEx07, seminars have been held in Melbourne and Sydney, with an upcoming seminar to follow in Brisbane on October 30.  Kodak technical and sales staff will be on-hand to provide information and deliver demonstrations throughout each session.

With the introduction of bundled automation features in Prinergy Evo 4, commercial printers of any size can streamline their workflows like never before. Rich Ramirez, Kodak GCG technical sales, enterprise solutions Asia Pacific region, says, "Repetitive steps are removed, and shops can spend more time on job turnaround and quality assurance.

"And the new Adobe PDF Print engine in both Prinergy Evo and Connect products is what we've all been wanting for a long time."  Complex design jobs not only flow through the system quicker, but the correct output is more reliable - "what you see on-screen, is what you'll see on-plate; no more white lines and boxes where there shouldn't be.

"And our InSite Storefront product is really nice to see. Not exclusive to digital shops, but offset as well, on-line order of print is where we're all headed," adds Rich.  InSite Storefront gives a printer the power to place their presence on the web. And it's easy to use and configure; you don't have to be a webmaster to work with it.

Finally, the automation behind the scenes is phenomenal.  Rich adds: "At our latest install here in Australia, we placed an order for a product over the web, and in only a couple minutes, it was sitting on the digital press front-end, complete with correct paper stock, imposition and quantity already configured. What more could you ask for?"

The Kodak Prinergy 4 and Evo Solution Seminar will be held on Tuesday, 30 October, Novotel Brisbane, 200 Creek Street, CBD. There will be two sessions: Afternoon session: 2pm-5pm and Evening session: 7pm-10pm.
