Konica Minolta boosts presence in production print

Konica Minolta debuted a number of new additions to its bizhub PRO line of production printers at the recent On Demand Conference & Expo in the US. These include the bizhub PRO C6500, accompanied by next-generation polymerised toner Simitri-HD (high definition), and the bizhub PRO 1050 with new Perfect Binder finishing option.

John Venett, national marketing manager of Konica Minolta in Australia, says all the products on display represent Konica Minolta's commitment to providing solutions that offer increased productivity and cost savings.

In addition to its core range of production printing systems, Konica Minolta emphasises it is also developing finishing solutions that will save professional print customers time and open new business opportunities. The Perfect Binder (PB-501) is the latest addition to its finishing range, an add-on that is designed to accompany the bizhub PRO 1050 and boost its number of system configurations to as many to 18.

Konica Minolta also highlighted a number of new strategic alliances during the On Demand expo with partners such as Microsoft and IBM.
